We're two people building something we actually believe in. Want in?
Gnumo is tiny, scrappy, and growing fast. If you're the kind of person who'd rather ship something students love than sit in another standup, we'd really love to hear from you.
What we're up to
We're building a study app that actually studies you back. Focus tracking, spaced repetition, real study structures, all in one place that students reach for on their own (not because a teacher told them to).
Every feature has to earn its spot. We'd rather ship one thing that feels magic than ten things that feel okay.
How we work
- Fully remote. Work from wherever you do your best thinking.
- Tiny team, so your work shows up in the product almost immediately.
- Async first. We protect deep work over meetings.
- We care way more about the product than the process.
Who we'd really love to meet
No formal job listings yet, but there are a few kinds of people we'd genuinely jump at the chance to talk to:
- Artists & illustratorsIf you can draw rockets, planets, weird little characters, or design cosmetics that students actually want to collect, please reach out. Our world deserves a real visual identity and we want someone who loves making it.
- Backend engineersIf APIs, databases, and clean systems make you happy, come build the brain of Gnumo with us. Spaced repetition, focus tracking, study analytics — there's so much fun stuff to build behind the scenes.
- Marketers & growth folksIf you actually understand students and how they talk online, we want you. TikTok, Reddit, schools, communities, partnerships, we're open. Help us find the people who'd love Gnumo if they only knew it existed.
- Passionate users with ideasYou don't need a job title. If you use Gnumo and have strong opinions about what would make it better, we want to hear them.
Send us a note at gnumoapp@gmail.com. Tell us a bit about you, what you love making, and why Gnumo caught your eye.
No resume required. We just want to hear from you.
